There's a New Regional MLS in Town

HGMLS and MLSLI Consolidate to form Regional MLS Serving New York Metro

It’s been a long time coming, but the marriage of Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service and the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island will reinvent the way listing data is shared by real estate professionals in 2019.

The new MLS, currently operating under the name New York MLS LLC, will have nearly 40,000 REALTOR® members and more than 40,000 active listings and will become the largest MLS in New York state.

Huge Service Area

The service area of the new MLS includes Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Orange Counties, creating unparalleled referral and new business opportunities for its participants.

New York MLS LLC is co-owned by the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® and the Long Island Board of REALTORS®.

NewYorkMLS.com: The Broker-friendly Ad-free Consumer Portal

The new regional MLS also owns and operates NewYorkMLS.com, the first Realtor-run consumer portal that is focused on the success of brokers in Manhattan and beyond.

NewYorkMLS.com will never permit agent advertising and is committed to featuring the properties of brokers on an even playing field. This will ensure that consumers only call the listing broker, unlike other third-party portals.

The new portal is also the first industry-led Realtor initiative that features listings from Manhattan. Some 3,000 listings are showcased on the site from every neighborhood in the city, with more being added every day.

How to Participate

To participate in the new regional MLS, brokerage firms must join the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® or the Long Island Board of REALTORS®. Once the brokerage joins, agents working under the broker’s license may join the association and participate in New York MLS LLC.
